Let me tell y'all something. I have been physical and social distancing for decades. I've always been the one who would rather stay at home then go out. Now with that being said, I do enjoy going out at my leisure to go to the movies or go out to eat. So with this whole home quarantine thing, I'm more prepared than some so here is a few things to help while in isolation.
1. Take a damn shower. You will feel better and your fellow housemates, partners and pets will appreciate the thoughtfulness.
2. Take some time to exercise no matter what it is you do. Try getting some steps in or do some lifts with the remote control or a bag of chips. Anything is better than nothing. Walking back and forth to the fridge counts.
3. Now is the time to write down your thoughts and do some journaling. It will help relieve the stress and anxiety you might encounter. If writing is not your thing then meditate. Take some time to breathe. You could try a new hobby like painting, drawing or photography while in quarantine.
4. If you have put off doing things at home, now is your moment to get organized or finish that project. Whatever it might be from organizing your closet or cleaning out your basement or garage, do it now!
5. If you are a movie and TV lover like myself then binge watch your favorite TV shows and/or watch some movies you haven't been able to see or watch your favorites again and again. There are films I love to watch over and over again.
