FEAR
FEAR IS A FOUR LETTER WORD MORE HARMFUL THAN ANY OF THE MOST COMMON FOUR LETTER WORDS WE KNOW LIKE FUCK, SHIT, HELL OR DAMN! Fear will and can destroy your life. It can smother the life out of you. Fear is paralyzing and debilitating. It may take years or even decades but one must not succumb to fear. I have let fear dominate my life. From adolescence to my teenage years, I was bullied and teased mercilessly for being gay. I was called a faggot, gay, queer, homo and any other negative stereotype you can imagine on a daily basis. I wish I could have been stronger and owned my gayness but I couldn’t at that time. I simply wasn’t strong enough. I was afraid of everything.
